Back in November I caught a parasite. Despite the gastrointestinal issues this parasite has given me I have managed to gain some weight so I thought I would let you all know about this issue to explain my sudden increase in size.
I've been to a specialist about it and he has me taking a pill every day, but he doesn't expect me to be rid of this parasite for a while yet. I don't anticipate needing any help as I deal with this situation and I'm able to function at my normal levels. I just wanted you to know.

Exciting! And congratulations! When do you expect the parasite issue to end? (Well, inside you, anyway!)
It's especially funny since I thought about checking with you to see if anything along these lines was happening...we tend to be on the same schedule, and I am experiencing the same kinda size increase over here. :)
Congrats! Hope that little parasite grows healthy and everything goes well.
