Wink Wink ;)

Back in November I caught a parasite.  Despite the gastrointestinal issues this parasite has given me I have managed to gain some weight so I thought I would let you all know about this issue to explain my sudden increase in size.

I've been to a specialist about it and he has me taking a pill every day, but he doesn't expect me to be rid of this parasite for a while yet.  I don't anticipate needing any help as I deal with this situation and I'm able to function at my normal levels.  I just wanted you to know.

Balloon ride

For Chris' birthday we went on a hot air balloon ride. I see the balloons almost every morning when I walk the kids to school and was really excited to go on one.

We rode in a large basket with twelve other people plus the pilot. We went on the coldest morning possible (26 degrees) but while up in the air we were warm--the air inside the balloon was 200 degrees!

It was great and we hope to go again in a smaller balloon someday.
